Forged from high carbon 1095 steel, this single edged blade is dressed with asymmetrical scales carved from wenge wood, and fasted with brass pins to the full tang. The hilt terminates with the tang being forged in to a ring for the pommel.

This knife retains some forge marks and scale from the forging process for aesthetics, and does not hinder the cutting capacities of its construction.

Although polished, this is a high carbon non stainless steel and will patina, discolour, with use, which is normal.

The sheath is hand stitched from cow and buffalo leather, it is treated with beeswax in a rustic style. The intended carry is for a drop down configuration, slung from a belt or other strap attached to the body. The fit is snug, but does not feature any additional mechanical retention features.
