The Somerset Club Cook Book, Vintage 1963 Boston, Signed by Alexander Williams the Chef from 1904 - 1944. Lovely Condition. No wear to speak of, pages somewhat uniformly foxed, has been stored for years (probably since purchased) with mylar jacket cover. There is an embossed "SS" on cover -- the exterior gold print on edge looks perfect. No splatters, not ex library, no rips, or tears. Smoke and fragrance free home. First edition, only 3,000 copies were printed in Vermont. Approx 9 1/2" x 6 1/2". 113 pages. This is an extremely rare copy as it is SIGNED and in near mint condition. It possibly is written to a fellow staff member which the name is difficult to translate, in 1971.
