For sale is Antique Tapestry Pattern called Louis XIII Period, which is originally made by Landwehr (Paris), 1868 and depicts a design for an edge of chair, border with stylized flowers and leaf motifs on black background.
Can be used as curtain or table-cloth border, wall embroidery or bellpull tapestry. For occasional and arm chairs, sofas, couches, ottomans cushions. Originally designed for the The Englishwoman's Domestic Magazine.
Design is made and represents the original hand painted pattern on black background, but feel free to choose your own color. Motif is repeated 2 times in this design.
DMC colors are selected from my personal full set of DMC floss samplers to match the existing colors of the old hand-painted pattern printout. DMC colors are suggested, not binding/obligatory and can be changed per your needs or preferences. Feel free to choose your own DMC colors.
