The manufacturer's MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) is $209.00 but I'm happy to consider reasonable offers. These are the last three anywhere as far as I can tell. Shown together if first photo, let me know at checkout of you have a preference.

Citadel has outdone themselves again with their Roman gentleman's pocket knife. The blade of the Roman combines all of their knowledge in crafting traditional samurai swords. The high carbon blade (DNH7 from Austria) is hand forged and differentially hardened in the Japanese style. The bevel is highly polished and zero ground (no secondary bevel) creating a long lasting and extremely sharp edge. The flats are untouched after the forging, display the ‘brut de forge’ scaling left by the blacksmith.

The overall design displays a subtle forward curvature which acts similarly to a recurve blade in cutting tasks. The locking liner stainless steel, with scales of a type of veined ebony wood called Troyeng. The large handle fills the hand nicely without taking up a lot of pocket room. Hand carved detail work on the spine and back spacer complete with an exceptional package.

CommentsExcellent reviews, see youtube video from Kutters Knives for details. These knives are top of the line hand forged, hand crafted by artisans. Citadel is most well known for Japanese swords that retail for well over $2,000.00 and demand always exceeds the supply. The Citadel are the first folding knives I've carried, I always preferred fixed blades because I felt like they were stronger and more effective for almost any task, but I'm impressed. You really have to handle one to appreciate the construction. Plus they're lovingly crafted in every detail if you study close-up photos. Recommended. I don't think you'll be disappointed. I'm a collector and a weekend warrior. I sell locally so I get lots of hands-on feedback. See my Seller ratings and buy with confidence. Plus I ship fast!
