Isabgol - psyllium 100g

Isabgol is the Indian name for the seed coat of Plantago ovata, that is, Plantago psyllium, which is very similar to our native flank, only growing in Southeast Asia. Psyllium bran is considered to be the best gut lubricant in Ayurveda and a kind of gut broom. These bran absorb an amount of water and intestinal contents many times more than they are heavy, thus solving various intestinal problems that include constipation and diarrhea.

WHO SHOULD USE ISABGOL?

Isabgol acts as a mild laxative, diuretic, anti-inflammatory and emollient. People suffering from chronic constipation, chronic diarrhea, dysentery, colitis, Crohn's disease, gastritis, ulcers, urethritis and cystitis can experience significant benefits by using isabgol.
Constipation, low discharge
Isabgol contains a considerable amount of both soluble and insoluble vegetable fibers, which is very important for people suffering from constipation. The bran of Indian juices absorbs a large amount of water, swells in the intestines, lubricates them and carries with them a precipitate of a drained stool.
Mix two teaspoons of isabgol with 100 ml of warm cow's milk and drink immediately so that the bran does not swell in the glass. Take this in the evening, before bed.
Diarrhea
Isabgol has a cooling and anti-inflammatory effect, absorbs in the intestines and carries with it a large amount of organisms, including pathogens, causative agents of various diarrhea problems - dysentery, colitis, Crohn's disease, stomach flu ... To stop these symptoms, Isabgol is best used with fresh sour milk with fresh yogurt. In this way, the intestines are colonized with probiotic bacteria at the proper scale, enabling their normal operation.
Mix two tablespoons of isabgol with two tablespoons of fresh sour milk and eat this after breakfast and after lunch (in the evening it is not good to use sour milk products).
Colon cleansing
Due to its hygroscopic nature, isabgol absorbs and collects harmful microorganisms, toxins and debris, which are referred to as “ama” in Ayurveda during movement through the intestines. This poisonous and sticky substance is commonly glued to the walls of the colon, where it passes into the bloodstream over time and causes various problems. By cleansing the ama, health, mood and appearance are improved.
Mix two teaspoons of isabgol with 200 ml of warm water and drink in the evening before bedtime, every other day for a month.
Gastritis, a helicoid bacterium
Excess acid in the stomach causes a lot of discomfort, and if it lasts for a long time it can lead to ulcers in the digestive organs. The softening and slimy properties of isabgol here can "work wonders".
Mix two teaspoons of isabgol with 100 ml of water (not warm or hot) and drink after meals, twice daily. Isabgol will absorb excess acid and bacteria, calm down the pie come.
Stomach and duodenal ulcer
In these conditions, the mechanism of action of isabgol is the same as that of excess acid. Due to the fact that the ulcer is a serious damage to the mucous membranes, additional agents must be used to heal and reduce corrosion. Therefore, in addition to tips for use under number 4 (gastritis), also add advice for use under number one, that is, in the evening before bedtime, with warm cow's milk.
Colitis, Crohn's disease
In these cases, nutrition is extremely important, heavy foods should be avoided. Isabgol should be taken with lasia - a mixture of fresh sour milk and water. Mix two tablespoons of fresh sour milk and 100 ml of water, add OE teaspoon of freshly ground Indian (Roman, garlic) cumin and a pinch of freshly scraped nutmeg. Mix all this well until you have a homogeneous beverage. Add two teaspoons of isabgol to this and drink twice daily after eating.
Obesity
Overeating due to stress and nervousness, overuse of calorie and refined foods, without vegetable fibers, are the most common causes of obesity today. Isabgol delivers an abundance of vegetable fibers, both insoluble and long-lasting in the stomach and soluble, which collect fat, bile and other wastes that weaken metabolism and lead to obesity.
Mix a teaspoon of isabgol, a teaspoon of lemon juice and 100 ml of warm water and drink half an hour before breakfast and half an hour before lunch. Whenever you feel hungry on a nerve base, drink this beverage to help calm stress and prevent it from growing.
Hemorrhoids, fistulas
As already mentioned, vegetable fibers and the laxative properties of isabgol contribute to easier and more painful bowel emptying, without strain and dryness. This prevents blood vessels from bursting. In addition, isabgol has a mildly strong taste, which helps to heal the fistula and stop the bleeding.
Mix two teaspoons of isabgol with 200 ml of warm water or warm cow's milk and drink in the evening before bedtime until the condition is resolved.
    Cholesterol, diabetes, high pressure
Modern research has shown that a diet rich in vegetable fiber reduces the absorption of fat and sugar. Therefore, many doctors and nutritionists advise increased intake of vegetable fibers, especially soluble ones, to reduce or prevent the effects of elevated cholesterol or glucose levels. Lower cholesterol levels are also associated with lower blood pressure and a healthier heart, and the removal of constipation and toxins from the colon have a beneficial effect on the heart and pressure.
The way it is taken in one of these conditions depends on the body structure and the health of the person. Take a look at one of the ways described above, then choose the one that is most appropriate.

Side effects:
It is not good to take isabgol with lazy intestines, which is a condition where the intestines are full of contents, but they do not move and the food in them stands and does not boil. Also, people who have poor Agni - a digestive fire in their stomach or acid deficiency, should not use lubricant laxatives, including isabgol.
