You are bidding on 5 seeds of Agave americana.   

This great Agave gets thick fleshy pointed leaves that are blue in color and yellowish flowers on tall stems well above the foliage, but they only bloom after any years and then the plants die after blooming, however they almost always produce babies (referred to as "pups") around the base of the mother plant well before flowering.  These plants are extremely exotic, yet they are fairly cold hardy.  They are hardy to at least USDA zone 7, and possibly colder.  These plants would make excellent additions to your rare plant collection, or just make a unique statement in your yard.
