Elaine had not seen Glen in 25 yearsnot since he inexplicably broke off their engagement, leaving her devastated. Though wary, Elaine agrees to appear on the show. She had not counted on Glens determination to make things right, and her lingering feelings for him. Glen is a 46-year-old economist who is divorced and living in Seattle. A recovering alcoholic, he seeks out his first love for old times sake, stirring up memories. After reuniting on the show, they begin corresponding by e-mail, leading to discovery, rediscovery, passion, and the bridging of 25 years lost in time, distance, and regrets.
