This is a vintage, Mid Century pair of black leather ladies gloves marked "20".  I believe these well-made gloves are kidskin leather as they are soft and supple.  The "20" mark on the inside likely indicates size, 20 cm, which equates to a size 8 in the US.  As the marking is in centimeters and kid leather gloves were often produced in France, they are likely of French origin.  Popularity of the style and material peaked in the 1950s.  The elegant, leather gloves belonged to my mother and the 1950s-1960s date range works.  The vintage gloves measure a little under 9" from fingertip to base. The pair is in good shape, clean and supple.
