Murano Glass Bowl Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d'Arte Green and Gold Yellow, Circa 1950

This Murano glass bowl is attributed to the designer Flavio Poli, who designed this Sommerso bowl for Seguso Vetri d Arte of Murano, Italy during the mid-20th century, circa 1940-1950.

The handmade bowl has a lovely flowing shape with part of the rim folded over to form a handle, producing a very attractive Sommerso (submerged) design in green with a gold outer rim.

Flavio Poli is recognised as one of the greatest designers of 20th century Murano glass.

Seguso Vetri d'Arte was founded by Antonio Seguso in 1932.
