This sale is for a DML Plastic model kit of the Lockheed F-117 Stealth [Nighthawk] fighter, which was not really a FIGHTER as much as an ATTACK aircraft.
Nicknamed the "Wobbly Goblin" among other things, it became famous during Desert Storm.
DML's #DS-4 9904 kit is very nice and provides a nice replica of this well-known warplane. It features " Accurate New Tooling" which includes a weapons bay which makes it possible to display some weapons. I built a couple of their earlier kits [see pics] and I don't think they didn't had the weapons bay.
It was normally deployed in flat all-black radar-absorbing paint, but occasionally appeared in "disguise" such as the desert camo scheme to help it blend in with other aircraft on the flight line at the Lockheed "Skunkworks" as well as other units.
Searching the web for F-117 paint schemes yeilds LOTS of ideas either based in reality or the imaginations of your fellow modelers. You can have fun with this kit.
Please see our other items and SAVE THIS SELLER, because we will be listing some more items soon and you can be notified when we do.
Also see our ceramics, which we are just getting going good with over 4,000 molds.
We have a LOT of doll molds, mostly vintage/out of production, and we sell doll parts for restoring and repairing your antique dolls. Tell us your interests, we probably have some ceramic art for you.

For you movie fans, you are probably aware that an F-117 apeared in a "Philadelphia Experiment" film proving that time travel can get you into big trouble.
As many of you know, we produce some WWII fighter aircraft kits and have several different German fighters, and we also have accurate decals for them, including the German ones with the white disc on the tails and similar markings and letters/numbers so if you would like to build a reasonable facsimile of the movie stealth fighter, message us after your purchase and I will include a set of German WWII markings for your model.
