This is a vintage Bireleys orange soda (orangeade) bottle embossed Hollywood CA, bottled in Roanoke, VA.  The vintage soda bottle likely dates between the 1930s and 1940s as later bottles were not embossed.  It is embossed on the front, "Bireleys" under "Trade Mark Reg - Contents 6 3/4 flu. oz".  The base of the old orangeade bottle is embossed, "Hollywood, California - Reg. US Pat. Off".  The bottom of the antique pop bottle is embossed with the Owens Illinois glass mark and the letters "HP", encircled by "Roanoke VA - Pat. Reg. 86037".  This likely indicates a patent date of 1937 for Bireley's Orangeade.  Bireleys, a company founded in Hollywood, CA in 1923 as a producer of non-carbonated soda, became part of General Foods in 1943.  (See below).   My father, an avid bottle hunter, found the old bottle more than 40 years ago in the ruins of an old home in Virginia.  The bottle is in great shape, free from breaks or cracks.  Clarity is nice, with minor sediment deposit.  The vintage drink bottle measures about 5.75" tall and 2.25" wide.
