Long before film cameras and digital filmmaking were invented, movies used to be made using moving slides. Retroscope was among the first moviemaking machines. It uses Persistence of Vision to create an illusion of moving images.

This exciting S.T.E.M. learning based educational D.I.Y. toy kit introduces your child to the fundamentals of movie-making by encouraging them to build a movie-making machine from scratch.

The Smartivity Clickety Flix Retroscope S.T.E.M. learning educational D.I.Y. kit includes all the elements and components required to assemble a fully functional movie-making retroscope. The components (parts) are made from high quality engineered wood and non-toxic plastic. 

Using the richly illustrated, easy to understand, step-by-step instructions from the Instruction Manual, your child can build a fully functional retroscope from scratch. The activity box comes with two sets of slides, a coloured set and a black and white set. Children can also design their own slides and bring their imagination to animated life using the Smartivity Clickety Flix Retroscope.

Items with free shipping do not included P.O. Box, FPO, PPO or Military Addresses, or Hawii, these addresses may cost you money to ship.

SHIPPING: Items are shipped out via Parcel Post, by way of the United States Postal Service to the winning bidder. You can request Priority mail or Express mail.   The post office is generally very reliable, however shipping times may sometimes extend out to 10 days in some locations. I combine shipping however, shipping cannot be combined on books with other items, because of the weight of books, Media Mail is the best value to ship books.  My items are shipped within one business day of the end of auction, unless it is a weekend or Holidays
