• The XStation loads slightly faster than an optimally tuned CD-ROM drive. It has an almost 100% compatibility rating with commercial software.

• What do I need to do to start playing games?
• 1st and foremost you'll need an SD card (or Micro-SD card with SD adapter) inserted with the XStation firmware on it. (Publicly available on GITHUB.) This sale is for the console only.
• You will need power and video cables. These are plentiful .
• You will need a PS1 compatible controller of your choice.
• If you wish to save games you will need a PS1 compatible memory card.
• Finally you will need software to place on your SD card. Most types of image files work just fine without any adjustment.
