This beautiful serving platter are the Madame Butterfly pattern by Syracuse China. This pattern was a very difficult to create,
apparently because of the delicacy of the air-brushed design.
Syracuse China is among the last companies making fine china exclusively in the USA. They are know for making china for fine restaurants and railroads.
Old Ivory label was used from 1927 to 1960.
