Marked 1947-8  BELLO on the top this wall hanging piggy bank is in very good condition considering its age and use.  The only marring is of small chips under the chin and on the 'feet'.  This piggy has a light blue background with yellow bow, tail, and ears. It is decorated with a red flower and green leaves and red hooves, nostrils and tongue.  The face is very expressive although it is missing an eyebrow!  The bank has the original hanger but somehow the original cork covering the money extraction hole cannot be lifted out.

The measurements are:  approx. 8 1/4 inches long, and 5 3/4 inches in height.

A great gift for someone born in 1947 or 1948, possibly a collector of piggy banks.
