This is NOT one of those new reproductions, it is vintage.
- This is a very rare, vintage t shirt entitled, "The FM KWhale Alaska's Concert Connection 106 1/2 KWHL". Tag reads: Sportswear Made in U.S.A. The back lists acts that have either performed in Alaska, or possibly been in-house guests of the station. Dates of acts range from 1982 through 1984. I don't know the origin of this shirt, I've had it for well over 30 years. Shirt is single-stitched to establish its vintage. A terrific item for the fan or collector.
Acts with dates are: Heart, Huey Lewis & The News, Jefferson Starship, Greg Kihn, Night Ranger, Triumph, Sammy Hagar, Little River Band, The Fixx, Blue Oyster Cult, Aldo Nova, The Tubes, 38 Special, The Romantics, Steppenwolf, Tony Carey, The Scorpions, Quiet Riot.
- Tagged a size Large, measurement from pit to pit is 19 1/2". Front collar to hem is 25".
- Condition is near new. No holes, stains, thread pulls or fading. Colors are vibrant. Very light paint cracking on the back lettering and some light pilling from laundering, otherwise ok.
