WOMEN IN TROUBLE
Filmmaker Sebastian Gutierrez writes and directs this ensemble comedy following 10 Los Angeles women over the course of 24 hours. The seemingly desperate women include film starlet Electra Luxx (Carla Gugino), neurotic Doris (Connie Britton), film up-and-comer Holly Rocket (Adrianne Palicki) and her sexy friend Bambi (Emmanuelle Chriqui); a therapist (Sarah Clarke), a flight attendant (Marley Shelton); and a precocious teen (Isabella Gutierrez).
ELEKTRA LUXX
A sequel to his own ensemble comedy "WOMEN IN TROUBLE", writer/director Sebastian Gutierrez's film "ELEKTRA LUXX" opens a month after the events of the first film, offering a glimpse into the harried life of the titular character -- a film actress (Carla Gugino) whose life descends into chaos when she discovers she's pregnant. Timothy Olypahnt, Marley Shelton, and Justin Kirk co-star in this sequel, which also features numerous actors from the original film.
