This is for an original painting on black velvet from Mexico City circa 1955. The colors, details and composition are excellent. The original frame has a copper wire for hanging.
Painting on velvet canvas just provides a deeper black contrast than any other medium but few artists can get the most out of it. This is great work. You will not find another piece quite like this.
