Description

This is a beautiful vintage cloisonne pocket watch - I believe it is a souvenir from China.
It depicts Shou Lao (Shou Xing), the Chinese Taoist God of Longevity. He holds the peach of immortality, which is also a Taoist symbol for Longevity.
He is accompanied by a deer, which represents long life and prosperity as well.
This beautiful watch is gold tone.
Manual wind up.
The watch fob has two golden hearts.
The watch opens to reveal an arabic numeral clock face, with second hand.
The intricate inner workings are also visible.
The back of the watch also has a "window" tor reveal the workings.
About 1 7/8" in diameter.
Comes in a lovely silk brocade presentation box wth velvet lining, and a carved bone toggle closure.
Perfect condition - never worn or used.
It works perfectly
From a smoke-free home.
This would make an elegant and unique gift to express wishes for a long prosperous life.
