New Harvest is one of the most promising new gospel groups on the road, garnering both a 1997 first place trophy in their first talent show, and a third place trophy in the Tuskegee Airmen Talent Show in 1997 in the company of rap music, R & B, and dance. Their heartfelt commitment to the Gospel, their soul-stirring musicality, and their show-stopping stage persona combine to forge an artistry that is at one time a revival and a redefinition of contemporary urban/R&B.

New Harvest began their ministry in the city of Dayton, OH from their upbringing in the Faith Deliverance Church of God in Christ. They began singing in the sunshine band, a male and female group known as Voices of Praise, and their local choir. As the young men reached their teen years, the director wanted to develop the ministry of an all-male group. The members of the group began to play their own instruments; organ, piano, synthesizers, guitar and drums, and arrange/write their own music. As time went on, their musical influences began shaping who would become as artists in their own right.

The sounds of Commissioned, Men of Standard, the Winans, John P.Kee, Kirk Franklin, laid the foundation for what has become the sound of New Harvest. These young men are grateful to the artists that have inspired them through their musical years.

Their new release entitled ""The Vision"" has become a local hit within the community of Dayton OH. It has received heavy rotation from a local artist aspect on several radio stations in the mix of national recording artists.
