Cathedral Chimes at Christmas Time, by Louis Garisto, is a collection of Christmas carols. These classic songs were played on the great organ and chimes. Garisto and his orchestra set forth with magnificent sound and envisioned a tale of the glorious moment of the Star of Bethlehem, when heaven and earth became one for the one fleeting moment that the Christ child was born. The extravagant and wonderful sound that you experience was captured using specially designed equipment that could be transported to the scene. Microphones were strategically placed and suspended to create the "stereophonic effect."
