Give Me A HAND CHARM Vintage Trifles N' Treasures Pendant New On Card Goldtone

This is a vintage HAND CHARM in goldtone and still on its original card!

It shows a single hand with the fingers and thumb close and all pointed up.  Both sides show the back of the hand.

There is also a depiction of a shirt cuff around the wrist.

It is still attached to its original card and was not worn.

What could this symbolize?  LEND A HELPING HAND!  GIVE ME A HAND! A HAND ON THE HEART?

CONDITION: This piece of jewelry is in pre-owned and vintage unused condition.  It is still attached to its original card and was never worn.  It does have a bit of scratching from handling and storage.  The plastic card also shows wear from the same.
