British Centurion Mk 3 main battle tank (22 Pdr gun)
The British Centurion was developed late in World War Two as a cruiser tank but came to late to be used in combat during the war, the first variants were armed with the 17 Pdr anti-tank gun but in 1948 the Mk III was introduced armed with a 20 Pdr gun for better anti-tank capability. The Mk III served during the Korean War were they proved highly successful against the T34/85. This variant was fielded by Australia, Canada, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Some of its users upgraded the Mk III to higher standards during its service life.
This model is 3D printed and meant to be an economical alternative to wargamers wanting to expand their armies, it can also be used to build dioramas.
This model is made in four parts, the turret, hull and tracks. The model will be sent with support material still attached for better safety during transport, cutting and cleaning will be needed before assembly. The model is printed using PLA and gluing is needed, if adding accessories to it superglue type glue will be required or other epoxy glue.
The pictures are from one sample model, the models are similar in grade of detail after print cleaning. The model is dispatched in a postal cardboard box with protective material inside for better safety.
