Bill Murphy, who sings lead and plays the guitar was married this year to Marcy Bianco, which makes rehearsing a bit easier and provides Jim Kirby, the third menber of the Trio, with a place to store his guitar while serving in the Army.

The Beechmonts have a unique method of balancing harmony in the middle of a number without so much as a signal, just seeming to sense an opportune time to make it effective.  Almost before the listener is aware of this, they have reversed back to their original parts.  Rarely does one find a girl taking the lower harmony in a Trio.  However the Beechmonts accomplish this smoothly, mostly because of the fine blend their three voices create.  Music lovers who appreciate the complexities of true, fluid easy three-partharmony, will find real enjoyment in listening again and again to these arrangements.

The Beechmonts are technically flawless.  They are young in heart, and a delight to be heard.
