I knitted this washcloth from a 1917 American Red Cross pattern. I used 100% cotton yarn and, as specified in the pattern, I sewed a loop of cotton tape on the corner. This is to hang the washcloth from.
The washcloth measures about 10x10 inches. 100% cotton. The color is white.
The last photo is from the original 1917 pattern.
No special washing instructions are needed: you can machine wash or hand wash the cloth and you can hang it to dry from the loop or machine dry it.
