Item Description
1- GILLINDER & SONS LION COMPOTE Frosted Lion Compote oval clear resting lion pressed on the side, while the lid has a
frosted, sitting lion finial. It measures 8 3/4 inches long x 8 1/2
inches tall. Made circa 1877.[GIBSON2BSKT]

tall, very good condition, no chips, some light surface scratches

3- James Gillinder & Sons MUSEUM PIECE FOOTED COMPOTE "Westward Ho!" Pattern, ca. 1880 [*77D] PRESSED Mold blown and pressed glass. Gillinder
and Sons made this footed-glass compote with a representation of a
kneeling Native American on the lid in 1879. 10 X 7" VERY GOOD

5- THE HEROES OF BUNKER HILL 1876 Commemorative Bread Plate by Gillinder 13
x 9, oval bread plate known as The Heroes of Bunker Hill was made by
Gillander and Co. for the Philadelphia Exposition of 1876. The Bunker
Hill platter has in the center the monument of Bunker Hill above which
is inscribed Birthplace of Liberty. Around the border is Prescott 1776
Stark, Warren 1876 Putnam, The Heroes of Bunker Hill and The Spirit of
Seventy Six. The handles are shield shaped with stars and stripes.
