On/off switch on the back with volume control. The tassel on Santa's hat activates the sound & movement. Uses 4 AA batteries not included. Approximately 12 inches high, about 8 wide more or less as Santa's hair is a bit bushy. Santa's hat is red velour with white faux fur trim, and he is bespectacled. Box has minor shelf wear.
