Yet another short-lived "men's action & adventure" series from the 1970s -- and only TWO BOOKS in the entire series -- so VERY short-lived!  Steve Savage is a twenty-something freelance photographer, as well as an espionage agent who has "worked for the leading spy operations of most European nations," according to his bio on the inside front cover.  Savage's "boss" is a London-based photographic agent (and former spy), who sends young Steve off hither and yon on various international exploits, such as investigating the remains of a Nazi submarine, sunk deep within Norwegian waters since World War II.  The author of this series is a bit of a mystery himself -- two different sources have identified him as TWO different authors -- both DAVID LEWIS HODGSON and PATTON D. LEWIS -- so maybe only Steve Savage REALLY knows. . ..
