Measurements:
Please note that the top of the shorts in the front is about 1inch shorter then the back with a low rise. Also, this measurement is with the waist band folded up. If you fold it down it is about a 1 inch - 1 1/4 inch difference. Also, the waist band is elastic and has about a 2 inch stretch.
XS 4-5 measures about 10 inches across the waist, the inseam measures about 2 1/2 inches, and from the waist to the bottom of the shorts measures about 10 inches.
S 6-6X measures about 11 inches across the waist, the inseam measures about 2 1/2 inches, and from the waist to the bottom of the shorts measures about 11 inches.
M 7-8 measures about 11 1/2 inches across the waist, the inseam measures about 2 1/2 inches, and from the waist to the bottom of the shorts measures about 11 1/2 inches.
L 10-12 measures about 12 1/2 inches across the waist, the inseam measures about 2 3/4 inches, and from the waist to the bottom of the shorts measures about 12 1/2 inches.
XL 14-16 measures about 13 inches across the waist, the inseam measures about 2 3/4 inches, and from the waist to the bottom of the shorts measures about 13 inches.
