About The Artist:
Demetre H. Chiparus was born in Romania and then traveled to Paris before WWI to become more involved with his artwork. He exhibited at the Salon in 1914. He produced most of his renowned works between and 1943. His later works in the 1920’s were influenced by his interest in Egypt, after the excavation of the Pharaoh Tutankhamen’s tomb. Some of his most exciting works are dancers taken from the Russian Ballet, French Theatre and early motion pictures.
This statue is reproduced in solid bronze by the "Lost Wax" casting process. It is made to order, handmade and hand finished and then mounted on a fine marble base, all dimensions are approximate. Please allow 3-4 weeks for completion and delivery. Note: Shipping quoted is for the continental U.S. only. We cannot ship this item to AK, PR, HI, APO/FPO or PO Boxes. Why we no longer offer free shipping for this item:

If we were to calculate the shipping to the farthest distance to our location and added that to the cost of the product that would not be fair to those who are close, would it? Also, free shipping excludes those individuals who live in AK, HI & US protectorates because shipping is more expensive to those areas, so instead, we use calculated shipping by location. Compare our prices and our quality - often, our prices are much less than what other stores charge for the same quality item, make us an offer and if we can accept it, the item is yours. We believe in transparency, and accordingly, we don’t profit from the shipping cost, we pay a very simple, very fair, competitive cost for shipping and whatever we pay, we pass it on to you.
Return Shipping Costs:
If buyer refuses delivery without inspection, misses delivery appointment(s) or returns a non-defective or undamaged product, buyer will incur original shipping charges along with actual return shipping plus the aforementioned 25% restocking fees.
