This knife has the blade fabricated from the fine chrome stainless steel with the small trace amount of vanadium doped or added to increase its strength, wear resistance, and toughness.  When toughness and sharpness matter, there is no better knife than vanadium knife regardless of the prices.  The handle is double riveted ( rare square shaped rivets ) to sure fitting for durability, strength, & balance.
