Generic "Matra" cover looks great, a few creases near edges; very light scuffing and some small surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (generic white). Spine is easy-to-read with mild wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. BPM ("124") written on one side of label. (Not a cut-out.)
Ask Me b/w Whisper by Carol Jiani, was a single from the album of the same name. This single was one of three from her third album. Carol Jiani (born Uchenna Carol Ikejiani) is a Nigerian-born singer based in the United Kingdom, best known for her 1981 hit Hit 'N Run Lover. She had auditioned to appear on Joe La Greca's album Montreal. Jiani recorded two tracks for the project; these were released credited under her birth name. Salsoul Records convinced her to shorten her name from Uchenna Ikejiani to Carol Jiani to make it easier for North Americans to pronounce.
