To make this possible, our fine sachets are made of a biodegradable material based on cornstarch (i.e. no nylon) and then hand-filled and finished. The thread needed for the seam is made of natural, unbleached cotton.

As to be expected with a handmade product, the size of individual sachets may differ slightly. But for precisely this reason, each one is a tiny work of art in its own right.

A handcrafted Sirocco tea sachet is ideal for about 250 ml of water. Apart from the amount of water, the desired strength of all teas and infusions is most effectively influenced by the brew time. Our recommended brew time can be found on every air- and light-tight sachet as well as on the small paper tag.
