Albizia julibrissin or "Silk Tree" is a tree, 6-8 m tall, with smooth bark and a sparse, broad-umbrella crown. The leaves are large, double-pinnate, composed of many delicate, elliptical leaflets. Their placement forms the openwork crown. The flowers are extremely spectacular, soft pink, collected in inflorescences. The beauty of the color is due to the incredibly long stamens, spread out like a fan. Blooms from late June to September. It is not demanding on soil conditions and humidity. It is bright and heat-loving.

How to grow Albicia Julibrissin or "Silk Tree"

-The seeds will be hard, brown, and bean-like. Put the seeds in a bowl and submerge them in boiling water. The seeds should be left overnight to scarify and improve germination. You should plant one seed approximately one inch deep in each cup after the seeds have been freshly treated.

- Make a soil mixture by mixing equal parts sand and potting soil. Punch drainage holes in the bottom of some drinking cups about three inches tall. Then fill them with soil. Place the seed in the soil mixture and lightly water it. Repeat this for as many seeds as you want. The seeds are sown in targeted medium pots!

To encourage germination, warm places are needed. Transplant each seedling into a larger pot once it has three to four leaves. They can even tolerate a short period of drought if they are kept moist with just the right amount of water. Covering the tree with two inches of mulch will protect it from the weather and moisten the soil. Your tree does not need to be watered if you're getting regular rainfall. Silk trees can grow in various soil types and tolerate drought.
