This vintage compact is in Very Good+ Condition complete with Max Factor’s Translucent Pressed Powder, powder puff, silky black drawstring bag, black velvet box, and outer gold cardboard box. 

 

Max Factor started the Geminesse line in 1966. I received this compact as a gift in the late 1970s. So, it was manufactured sometime in between.

 

This compact is lovely with a Pearl in the center encircled by tiny pearls and Coral and Turquoise colored cabochons and gold or bronze filigree. The back features a border of fleur de lis. See pictures for details.

 

The gold-colored outer box shows light wear, particularly on the bottom. The powder puff is loaded with powder from years resting in the compact. Otherwise the compact and its wrappings are in pristine condition. See pictures for details.
