The name Valknut is not a traditional Viking name but a modern Norwegian title given to the symbol. It combines the words for a slain warrior, "valr," and knot "knut" to mean knot of slain warriors. This name Valknut, appears to be associated with the dead and with Odin, the god of war and the dead. This cool valknut Viking ring or Norse warrior knot band is made of solid hypoallergenic stainless steel. The Valknut design is raised and given a high polish finish while the recessed areas have a satin finish to give the design a two-tone look. The Viking ring approximately measures 8mm wide and is a comfort fit band. This valknut Viking ring is currently available in sizes 7, 8, 9, and 10.
