Every Icon is a window into heaven. Each represents different aspects of our Lord.

Holy Angel Hesychia or Angel of a Blesed Silence is an image of contemplative state. The word Hesychia is derived from Greek word meaning Tranquility. 

This Icon is written in Russian-Byzantine style, it is a copy of Angel Hesychia written by Prosopon school of Iconology. Prosopon is an iconographic school rooted in 15 century Russia. 

It is gilded with 24 carat gold and written with egg tempera prepared traditionally from scratch from pigments. It is written on high quality 2 cm thick wood panel. 

Traditionally when writing an Icon we pray for those for whom it is meant. When you order you can let me know if there were areas of your life where the aspects of blessed silence could bring some peace. I will then entrust that in prayer so that the Icon is made-to-measure to your specific needs.
