These sets are really cool. They are made with ceramic donuts and beads, and an alloy called Alpaca silver. This alloy is copper, lead, and zinc. It is hypoallergenic and very lightweight. These are colorful unique sets. They don't tarnish and they tend to hold up to abuse. Mine have survived the washer several times. They make super gifts.
