This historic Maryland city noted for its hospitality and such products as Celanese, cloth, bread, wood products, and automobile tires and tubes. The first Baltimore and Ohio train entered Cumberland in 1842 and the first canal boat entered the town on the Chesapeake and Ohio canal eight years later
