The Ouroboros is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. Originating in ancient Egyptian iconography, the symbol entered western tradition via Greek magical tradition. The word ouroboros comes from the Greek word oura which means tail and boros which means eating. The ouroboros represents the eternal unity of all things and the cycle of life. This unique infinite ouroboros necklace is made of solid stainless steel. This serpent dragon is three-dimensional and reversible, the front is the same as the backside. This infinity pendant has a high polish finish with antiquing to highlight the details. The dragon (without bail) approximately measures 52mm long x 28mm wide x 8mm thick. The bail can accommodate a chain or cord necklace up to 4.5mm wide. The infinite ouroboros pendant will arrive ready to wear on a 24-inch 3.4mm wide stainless steel spiga/wheat chain necklace.
