Looking for that next big thing to add to your man cave? Well, this is it! Pop artist Steven Kaufman hand-painted Robbie Knievel Helmet! This is a rare piece as whenever you see any Steve Kaufman signed items especially with his artwork, as usually his piece are all done on Canvas and not a physical item like this one here. This piece was created for the Caesars Palace Hotel in Las Vegas to commemorate their 35th Anniversary and all their history over the years. There was a huge display created for 2 of the biggest moments in not just Caesars' history but also Las Vegas history which was the Knievel display showcasing both Evel Knievel & Robbie Knievel's jumps they both had years apart. Steve's hand painted a total of only 3 helmets between both legends (1 for Robbie, 2 for Evel) that were all individually & uniquely created with different hand painted designs on each helmet. We have 1 of the 3 ever made from the exhibit and the only one of Robbie, in which this piece is a one-of-a-kind in its own, no others exist like it! We have added an image with 3 pictures in the collage showcasing the exhibition at Caesars Palace in 2001. It is not the highest quality image but if you look for the red arrow we added to the collage, you will actually see this helmet on display in the hotel, verifying it is the one from Steve's historic exhibit. We acquired this helmet directly from the hotel's auction company they use in 2022, and you can see a photo of it in our listing in a crate, on site inside Caesars Palace. This artwork is an original all hand-painted oil on a regulation Bieffe Italian racing helmet, measuring approximately 14" x10" x 10" in size! The eye shield of the helmet has been sealed, most likely by Steve, for artwork purposes as its been painted in and around it. Overall, the helmet is in incredible condition as you can see in the 360-degree view photos we have provided, considering it is over 20 years old and ready to display in your collection!
If you know anything about art, you will know that Steve was the personal assistant to Andy Warhol. Unfortunately, Mr. Kaufman is now deceased but through his works of art, he will live on forever! This is a serious collector's item and will only go up! We did some research and were unable to find any more of these around, so we take it, people don't sell these often and hold on to them, so this may very well be a very collectible & rare item!
