Original painting by William Marshall Brown (1863-1936), a painter from Scotland. Brown's works have sold upwards of $20,000; he is a renowned painter known for images of people at the seaside. Signed Marshall Brown. Sotheby's has confirmed that this is an authentic piece. It was acquired in an art auction by a client of ours in Vancouver, probably sometime in the 1980s.

The piece appears to be painted on a hard material like board with a canvas surface. I believe it is oil. The painted surface measures approx. 20.25" x 15.5" and it is 20" x 25" to the outside of the frame. To the naked eye, the painting does not have any damage. I have not looked at it through a magnifying glass. There is dust on the surface because it was in a storage locker for a long time. The frame has several light scuffs and a ding on one corner.

Questions, please ask; I want this piece to go to a good home. Shipping will be bulletproof and insured to the full value of the item. NORTH AMERICA ONLY, please.
