World War II diary of Private First Class Heinz Postenrieder, German soldier who served during the campaign in Russia and as a prisoner of war. An expert photographer, Postenrieder's book includes over 150 photographs of his time in the war. The book was originally written in German but includes the English translation of his diary by Postenrieder's daughter Christine Miller.
