Probably one of the strangest magazines ever published by Jim Warren, who was already known for publishing some very strange comics, such as FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND ; CREEPY ; ERRIE ; VAMPIRELLA ; and so on.  But FREAK OUT U. S. A. only lasted two issues, and Jim Warren moved on to other topics.
