French Somua S35 medium tank with German cupola
The Somua S35 was an early World War Two French tank that was used by the cavalry units and considered a medium tank. It was introduced in 1935 and had a 47 mm anti-tank gun. The tank was considered a good design despite its one-man turret. Captured examples were used by the German occupation forces for internal security duties after the vehicle had become obsolete for tank warfare. Many of these captured samples were modified by having hatches installed to the cupola in German style.
This model is 3D printed and meant to be an economical alternative to wargamers wanting to expand their armies, it can also be used to build dioramas.
This model is made in five parts, turret, hatch, hull and tracks. The model will be sent with support material still attached for better safety during transport, cutting and cleaning by the buyer will be needed before assembly. The model is printed using PLA and gluing is needed, if adding accessories to it superglue type glue will be required or other epoxy glue.
The pictures are from one sample model and some painted shots, the models are similar in grade of detail after print cleaning. The model is dispatched in a postal cardboard box with protective material inside for better safety.
