Polish TKS Hotchkiss armed tankette
The Polish TKS tankette was and improved variant of the earlier TK-3 model and was introduced in 1933. About 260 were made using a Fiat Polski engine replacing the earlier Ford A, a total of 6 machines were exported to Estonia. The TKS was armed with one machine gun and could not face enemy armor in this configuration so it was planned to replace the machine gun by a 20 mm auto-canon but only 24 vehicles could be converted before World War Two started. Captured examples were used by the Germans and also exported by them to Croatia.
This model is 3D printed and meant to be an economical alternative to wargamers wanting to expand their armies, it can also be used to build dioramas.
This model is made in three parts, the body, the right track and the left track. The model will be sent with support material still attached for better safety during transport, cutting and cleaning by the buyer will be needed before assembly. The model is printed using PLA and gluing is needed, if adding accessories to it superglue type glue will be required or other epoxy glue.
The pictures are from one sample model, the models are similar in grade of detail after print cleaning. The model is dispatched in a postal cardboard box with protective material inside for better safety.
