French Citroen Traction Avant staff car
The French Citroen Traction Avant introduced in 1934 was the first car to have front wheel drive, monocoque body and independent suspension. This line of civilian cars were adopted as staff cars by the French army and used during the Battle for France. Captured examples were put to use by the Germans and civilian cars were also used by the French resistance and painted in various color schemes and put into use by the FFI during the French liberation.
This model is 3D printed and meant to be an economical alternative to wargamers wanting to expand their armies, it can also be used to build dioramas.
This model is made in five parts, hull and tires. The model will be sent with support material still attached for better safety during transport, cutting and cleaning by the buyer will be needed before assembly. The model is printed using PLA and gluing is needed, if adding accessories to it superglue type glue will be required or other epoxy glue.
The pictures are from one sample model and some painted shots, the models are similar in grade of detail after print cleaning. The model is dispatched in a postal cardboard box with protective material inside for better safety.
