1908 German General Josias von Heeringen Presenting Award photo Prussian Officer. Photographers imprint reads M KLAIBER & SON LUDWIGSHAFEN a/Rh 1908. Pre WWI. A number of high ranking German officers, including center left German General Josias von Heeringen (9 March 1850 – 9 October 1926). presenting something to the officer center right. I couldn't place any of the other officers. Officer far left has a Totenkopf skull and crossbones emblem on his hat. Prussian Cavalry? Image measures 11 1/2" x 9". Board measures about 12 1/2" x 16". Period frame has gesso loss on edges and upper left corner. With glass. the frame measures 22"w x 18"h. A nice find.
