The general public also used to sing folk songs with shinobue accompaniment before the arrival of western instruments. Recentry, this traditional Japanese instrument is experiencing a revival through taiko groups. This is our original bamboo shinobue, Shinobue Furyu. It has been sold well since it was released. Furyu-8 is tuned in a diatonic C scale. Bamboo-made shinobue is easier to make sounds than plastic-made one.
