A rarely seen accessory garment, a velvet "yoke" with a flared, standing collar. Worn over the usual square-necked Tudor gown, it offers warmth & a fashion style change for a too-often-seen Court gown. Or, make it in fine sheer fabric, tuck inside the gown's neckline, and you have a delicate chemise !
